Ebinomori" is a new restaurant in Nakijin Village, where you can enjoy fresh tiger prawns in an extraordinary space surrounded by the Yanbaru forest. You can enjoy the live cooking right in front of your eyes, surrounded by the great nature of Okinawa.

The counter seating overlooks the open kitchen, where you can watch live prawns being prepared up close. This is a remarkable spot that offers an unprecedented new kind of dining experience.

At the counter, you can enjoy watching the chef prepare the tiger prawns right in front of you for tempura or sashimi.

The "Live Tiger Prawn Sashimi Gozen" is characterized by its plump texture and sweet meat, which can be tasted only when it is fresh. The taste melts in your mouth.

The "Live Tiger Prawn Tempura Gozen" has an exquisite texture, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The fragrant aroma of freshly fried prawns whets the appetite. Both sets come with rice and miso soup, and are very satisfying.

Unusual space surrounded by 800 tsubo of forest

As its name suggests, "Ebinomori" is located in the vast Yanbaru forest.

Tropical plants spread throughout the grounds, creating an open feeling as if you are having a picnic in the forest.

The interior of the restaurant, which utilizes a container house, is a calm space with plenty of light streaming in through the large windows and the warmth of the wood. You can spend a special time while directly feeling the nature of Okinawa.

The "Ebi-no-Mori" will evolve further in the future.

Of particular note is the introduction of a fish tank for long-handled prawns. This will be a new hands-on restaurant where customers can enjoy catching their own prawns and having them BBQed or tempura-ed on the spot. This will be an exciting new way for adults and children alike to enjoy food.

In addition, the design of the store was based on the importance of harmony with nature, preserving existing trees as much as possible. We feel that we are committed to creating a space that makes the most of the beauty of Okinawa's forests.

Ebinomori is conveniently located just a minute's drive from the ruins of Nakijin Castle. It is the perfect place to stop by between sightseeing tours. It is also close to popular tourist spots such as Churaumi Aquarium and Fukugi Namiki in Bise, making it easy to incorporate into your travel plans around northern Okinawa.

Ebi-no-Mori is a new style restaurant born in the Yanbaru forest. It is a special restaurant where you can enjoy the luxury of fresh tiger prawns in a quiet space surrounded by the forest.

The counter seating offers a view of the open kitchen, allowing diners to enjoy the prawns being prepared in front of them with a live atmosphere. Both the tempura and sashimi were truly exquisite, with flavors that brought out the best of the ingredients.

Banyan trees and Ryukyu scarlet cherry trees spread across the vast grounds, and the restaurant is a pleasant space with plenty of natural light. It was a unique and special experience to dine while relaxing in the forest.

The restaurant will be even more enjoyable in the future, as a fish tank for long-handled prawns is scheduled to be introduced. Ebinomori, where you can enjoy delicious shrimp dishes in the midst of nature, is a new gourmet spot in Okinawa that you should check out!
