Located in Yomitan Village, Okinawa Prefecture, Sosaku Japanese Restaurant Hana Asagi is a famous hideout serving creative Japanese cuisine that makes the most of fresh local ingredients. The owner has 20 years of experience in Japanese cuisine, and after training in the Kansai region, he opened the restaurant in Yomitan Village in the central part of Okinawa Prefecture's main island. The interior of the restaurant is a space with the warmth of wood, and there are both counter and tatami room seats. We especially recommend the counter seats where you can enjoy a conversation with the chef while dining!

Lunch only: Roast Beef Stack
The bright reddish color remains and the flavor of WAGYU can be fully appreciated. Along with the seasoning, scallions, and egg yolk, we were able to enjoy many different combinations in our mouths.

Lunch only: Mini Kaiseki
The mini kaiseki (2,200 yen) is also popular and includes sashimi, soup, main dish, dessert, rice, red miso soup, and pickles. When we visited, cabbage rolls filled with ginger were served, a dish that warms the body.

Review of Okibara
I had been curious about this restaurant for a long time, and had heard repeatedly from people in Yomitan and Onna villages that Hana Asagi was delicious.
It is reassuring to see the owner's kind face, which seems to have never once been angry. The food is also made from local ingredients, and the gentle flavors of the ingredients make the most of their ingredients, making for a heartwarming experience. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also elegant, reminiscent of a Kyoto ryotei (traditional Japanese restaurant), and makes for a special time.
She ordered the Roast Beef Stack with 4 different kinds of garnishes, and I ordered the Mini Kaiseki, both of which ended with a brown sugar pudding. It had a melt-in-your-mouth, adult taste with the bitterness typical of brown sugar!
Sosaku Japanese Cuisine Hana Asagi is a Japanese restaurant beloved by locals and tourists alike. Seating is limited, so both lunch and dinner are available. It is recommended to make reservations in advance!
