LIMPID is a small café-restaurant in Okinawa Prefecture where you can enjoy French-style cuisine at reasonable prices. It opened in 2016 in the Minatogawa Foreigners’ Housing Complex and relocated to Kitanakagusuku Village on November 11, 2023. They offer French-inspired full-course lunch menus as well as à la carte lunch options. The dishes feature ingredients grown in their own fields and are prepared with meticulous care. It’s highly recommended for when you want to enjoy a nice lunch with friends!

After dinner, I spent a little while tapping away on my computer... (Since there happened to be no customers at the time, I ended up staying a while.)
LIMPID offers two types of courses.
Son-chan ordered the full course. (He really is a big eater.) It’s a full course where you can enjoy both fish and meat. As for the fish, it’s a surprise—you never know what they’ll serve that day.
You can really tell that the chef puts a lot of thought into each dish—the quality of every single ingredient is brought out, and you can really feel the care that goes into preparing each one.

Sweet Potato Soup
You can really taste the sweetness of the sweet potato, and the smooth texture is great. You can really tell how much care the owner puts into the cooking.
Poached Fresh Fish from Okinawa Prefecture with Seasonal Vegetables and Sauce
I hear the fresh fish selection changes daily. They have a Chinese cabbage gratin, which goes perfectly with the mild sauce!
Roasted Beef Brisket with Seasonal Vegetables and Sauce
The meat is thick but tender. The sauce goes perfectly with the vegetables!
Dessert
That day, we had a traditional French dessert called "Nougat Classé." It had a light, fluffy texture and a refreshing flavor. It was topped with star fruit.
Lunch Menu
Half-and-Half: Beef Brisket, Roast Beef, and Spiced Curry
Kazunari ordered curry from the à la carte lunch menu.
Beef misuji with a soft-boiled egg in curry. It’s a real treat—you get to enjoy two kinds of meat at once.
It was just the right level of spiciness—even people who aren't big on spicy food could enjoy it without any worries!
