2023年の那覇マラソン後に、どこに泊まろうかと調べていたら、丁度オリオンホテル那覇（現：琉球オリオンホテル那覇国際通り）がとしてリニューアルオープンしていたため、素泊まりで泊まってみました。

Welcome beer and drinks are available in your room. Good restaurants are within walking distance around this hotel. Even though it is along Kokusai Dori, it is at the end of the street, so it is relatively easy to travel by car.

Hotel Atmosphere

The entrance has undergone a major transformation, giving the old hotel a new look.

The refined design after the renovation is impressive. The previous first floor was very "old-fashioned," you know?

After check-in, a bath salt service was available at the amenity bar, where guests could fill a sachet with their favorite fragrance to take home.

I think I stayed in a 23m2 Orion Modern Twin (I honestly don't remember which room because I was so tired from the marathon lol). It was totally spacious and comfortable compared to a business hotel.

The in-room refrigerator contained Orion beer, WATTA (Orion shochu high), and water. The evening meal was with my marathon buddies, but I couldn't resist and quickly stomach the Orion beer. It was sinking in.

You can have the welcome beer that you received when you checked in. The special feeling of being able to drink Orion beer that is not sold commercially was great. On the left is Orion the Craft Pale Ale with a fruity flavor, available only at Orion Naha. On the right is Orion the Craft Weizen, a slightly bitter beer available only at Orion Naha. We, amateurs, don't know much about it, but it was nice to have the experience of drinking a limited edition!

There are several keg artworks on display, and you can enjoy the luxury of "drinking Orion at Orion. Like drinking Orion at the Orion Brewery.

The hotel has an official Orion store, selling Orion-designed T-shirts and items. The shop offers a full lineup of souvenirs for you to choose from.

Impressions of Okibara

Although the hotel had been completely renewed, I felt that the bathroom and toilet were still the same old integrated type. I was tired from the Naha Marathon and used the hotel almost exclusively for sleeping, so I didn't mind too much, but next time I would like to have a little more room to relax and enjoy my stay.

What particularly impressed me was the atmosphere of the bar, which fully embraces the Orion brand. The experience of enjoying limited-edition beers only available here is something special and hard to find elsewhere.

The restaurant in the hotel looks good, but there are many delicious restaurants of various genres in the surrounding area within walking distance. To further enjoy your stay in Naha, we recommend that you plan to enjoy local delicacies at a restaurant and then have a drink at the hotel bar.
