An inn with architecture in harmony with nature where island breezes pass through
Blue, Blue, White and Okinawa" was built to nestle in the nature of Onna Village, Okinawa, and was designed by architect Takushi Nakamura. It features an Okinawan red earth-colored exterior that blends in with the landscape without standing out, and an open atrium structure that lets in the island breezes.
The entire building is a "breezeway.
The inn has almost no doors or windows. Instead, it is designed to allow the natural breezes that connect the ocean and mountains to blow directly through the building. The wind itself gently envelops the indoor air without relying on air conditioning.
Fluctuation of wind and light reflected on the "SUIBAN" water basin
Depending on the time of day, the SUIBAN in the center of the room will create fantastic moments when the wind blows, light shines, and the surface of the water shimmers on the ceiling. The rhythms of nature itself are the "stage direction" of the space.
Prayer for a "rest" in architecture
The inn was born out of a desire to provide a "break" for children with incurable diseases, their families, and all those who are lost in life. It is a place where one can lighten their hearts while being surrounded by the wind and prayers. That is "Blue, Blue, White, and Okinawa.

Sacred entrance to be greeted with posture.
To enter the guest room, one passes through a low entrance modeled after the Okinawan ritual space "Ashagi. The posture naturally lowers, the mind becomes calm, and a sense of stepping into the space with respect is created. The act of "passing through" itself is like a switch from the ordinary to the extraordinary. Instead of room numbers, the rooms are numbered with surnames, which is a common practice in Okinawa.

Rooms are 28㎡ Japanese modern style that can accommodate up to 4 people. They are thoroughly minimalist in design, with only tatami mats and a washbasin, and no TV or clock. If you listen carefully, all you can hear is the sound of the wind, your own breathing, and the presence of nature.
An extraordinary sense of gravity created by the 8-meter "wind gust" that regulates the mind.
At the center of the room is a soaring "kajituchi," with a ceiling height of up to 8 meters, allowing the wind to blow through the air above. The visual impact is breathtaking, and one feels as if one is being sucked into nature. This design creates a sense of "prayer" and "silent power" in the space.
Dare to cut down, and your mind will be clear.
Televisions, clocks, and other sound-producing items were eliminated to encourage "orderliness". Rather than adding something, we have removed something to deepen the richness of the space. The five senses are sharpened and the mind quietly returns to the "here and now. Such a guest room experience is available here.
Spend time on the light and wind terrace where time stops.
The terrace on the second floor is a special place where time flows quietly away from everyday life. The view is excellent, and from morning until dusk, the time spent watching the sky change from moment to moment is truly "the luxury of doing nothing.
Relax with the breeze with chilled San-Pin Tea and Orion Beer.
There is a common room with a refrigerator by the terrace, where water, Sanpin tea, and Orion beer prepared for each room are kept cold. Enjoy the relaxing Okinawan time with a cold drink in your hand while feeling the breeze outside. Just by doing so, you will feel your heart relax.
Time for the sunset to turn magical.
The best time to visit is at dusk. The moment the sun sets low and shines through the buildings is beautiful, as if the sky, light, and wind become one. In this place, you can almost forget about the passage of time.
Relax in a private bath in a tropical landscape
The private bath, rare in Okinawa, is half-open-air style with a view of tropical plants and the sky. The hot water prepared on time is shell ginger hot water. It is a natural blessing said to have antibacterial, skin beautifying, and relaxing effects.
It was quiet and comfortable, more than enough to heal the fatigue of daily life. It was truly a place where I could spend "time to take care of myself.
Amenities with careful attention to detail
For use of the private baths, bath towels, face towels, pajamas (separate top and bottom, children's wear available), and sandals for inside the building are provided. Mineral water, sanpin tea, and Okinawan brown sugar are available in your room, perfect for taking a break after taking a bath.
In addition, makeup remover, facial cleanser, lotion, and milky lotion are available for women, so you can stay at the hotel without any of these items.

“まーさん”とは、沖縄の言葉で「美味しい」の意味。旬の島野菜を中心に、近隣農家さんのとれたて食材を丁寧に仕上げたおばんざいは、見た目も味も彩り豊かで、朝から整うひと皿がそろいます。

刻々と変わる空の色や雲の形を眺めながら、大切な人とゆっくり囲む朝食は、まさに「非日常のうれしい時間」でした。

朝食後や湯上がりには、宿の共有スペース「水納の場（みんなのば）」へ。開放的な畳敷きのリビングダイニングで、他の宿泊者とのさりげない交流や、スタッフさんとの会話を楽しめる空間です。
ひとりの時間も、誰かと過ごす時間も、ここでは自然体のまま心地よく過ごせる。そんなふうに、“朝の続き”をゆったり楽しめる場所です。

宿での滞在中に体験した「美ら島スチームチェア（琉球ハーブ蒸し）」は、まさに自分の心と身体に“ありがとう”を伝えるひとときでした。沖縄の土と植物の力を、肌で、呼吸で、ゆっくり感じる時間。少しだけ贅沢に、自分を労わる。そんな過ごし方ができるのも、この宿ならではです。

座るのは、沖縄の伝統工芸「やちむん」で作られた専用のチェア。下から立ち上るスチームには、琉球よもぎ、モリンガ、月桃、ローズヒップなど、沖縄で育った無農薬ハーブが贅沢に使われています。
スチームに包まれると、ゆっくりと身体の芯から温まっていく感覚に。赤土のミネラル、自然の香り、そして蒸気の温もりが、じんわりと全身を整えてくれました。

静かな客室でひとり、風の音とハーブの香りだけを感じながら座るこの時間は、まさに心と身体の“デトックス”。終わったあとは肌がすべすべ、身体もふんわり軽くなったような感覚でした。
自分を大切にする時間として、これは本当におすすめ。ただ“泊まる”だけじゃなく、“整える”旅をしたい人にこそ、ぜひ体験してほしいと思える内容でした。

「青と碧と白と沖縄」は、自然の風や光、空気をそのまま取り込む設計のため、人工的な密閉空間では味わえない心地よさがあります。その一方で、宿は沖縄本来の自然環境、亜熱帯の森や風土に囲まれており、季節や天候によっては虫と出会うこともあります。
