“Create Your Own Keychain”—Enjoying Color and Light”

At Work Studio Kirara (formerly Manza-mo Experience Workshop), you can enjoy activities such as making resin keychains, as well as an experience where you extract real pearls and create your own jewelry. This time, we participated in the “Sparkling Resin Original Keychain Making Experience”!
The experience is very simple!!

There are so many different kinds!!

The plates feature designs that are quintessentially Okinawan—such as shisa, sea turtles, maps of Okinawa, and whale sharks—as well as hearts, circles, and amulet shapes. The “amulet-shaped” plates, in particular, are rapidly gaining popularity, and I hear many people make them while making a wish. There were so many types of plates to choose from that I spent about five minutes trying to decide (lol).

The translucency unique to clear resin shines even more brightly when held up to the light, creating a finish that feels as though it captures your travel memories.

There’s an incredibly wide variety of charms to attach to keychains, including small accessories that can be attached to the plate,More than 100 varietiesApparently, they have them!! You can be sure it'll be a one-of-a-kind keychain that no one else has!
Simple Activities Parents and Kids Can Enjoy Together

The process is very simple, so even young children can participate safely. Parents and children can make them together while chatting about things like, “Which one should we choose?” or “Let’s put a star here!”—making for a fun time filled with lively conversation. Even those who aren’t very crafty can participate without any trouble, so it’s highly recommended for family trips or multigenerational getaways.
No worries even on rainy days! Enjoy a comfortable time indoors

Since Manza-mo is a natural scenic spot, the experience there tends to be affected by the weather; however, since the Kirara experience takes place indoors, you can enjoy it even on rainy or windy days. The session lasts only about 30 minutes to an hour, making it perfect for fitting into your sightseeing schedule or as a last-minute plan when the weather takes a turn for the worse.
A location where you can enjoy both Manzamo sightseeing and local cuisine
The workshop is located on the first floor of the “Manzamo Area Revitalization Facility,” and you can enjoy it as part of a tour that includes the observation deck. It’s about an hour’s drive from Naha Airport, and parking is available. The second floor of the same facility features a food court where you can casually enjoy Okinawa soba and sweets. One of its main attractions is the convenience of being able to enjoy sightseeing, dining, craft workshops, and souvenir shopping all in one place.
My Thoughts After Trying It Out

When I actually made it, it was easier than I expected, and the finished product turned out even cuter than I’d imagined. The translucent quality and the sparkle of the glitter are beautiful, and it’s become a special keepsake that feels like it captures the memories of my trip to Okinawa.
Since you can take them home right away, they make perfect souvenirs or gifts.
