Umikazi Terrace is a complex of about 45 stores, including restaurants, sweets, and unique select stores. The buildings are arranged in a staircase pattern on a sloping site, offering views of the ocean from every angle. The contrast between the chalk buildings and the blue sky and sea creates an extraordinary feeling.
Visitors can enjoy the pleasure of relaxing on the terrace eating while feeling the breeze and purchasing accessories from local artists at the general store.

The charm of Umikazi Terrace is that it is safe and enjoyable even for those with small children. There is a lawn space on the premises where children can play freely.
You can also go to the beach on foot. You can look for small sea creatures and leave many memories with the setting sun in the background.

Although it is basically an outdoor facility, there are also covered stores and indoor seating, making it an easy place to spend even rainy days. At night, a bit of lighting up is implemented, and events are sometimes held on weekends.

Senagashima Umikazi Terrace is a 15-minute drive from Naha Airport! ... but it is often crowded, so it may take 30 minutes. All parking on site is free.
Located with a relatively close view of airplane arrivals and departures, this location is a must for airplane enthusiasts. It is also a great place to stop by on your last day when you have some free time before your flight.
If crowded, go to Sunset Park Parking Lot No. 4.
If it is crowded at the foot of Senaga Island, there is also a parking lot on Senaga Island (Sunset Park Parking Lot No. 4), so go there. On the way from Senagashima Sunset Park to Umikaji Terrace, you can also take a picture like the one above!

We go to Umikazi Terrace several times a year and there are always rental cars and tourist buses. We do a lap around the base and if we can't park our car, we move to Sunset Park Parking Lot No. 4.
Even if you have no particular plans, just walking around is a bit of fun at this spot. If you are a beginner in Okinawa travel, please visit there!
Be aware that the white exterior walls of Umikazi Terrace can easily cause sunburn on sunny days. Be sure to wear sunscreen and sunglasses.
