On Kouri Island in Nakijin Village, Okinawa Prefecture, the place Okibura recommends most—not Kouri Beach, nor Heart Rock, but—"Chigunu Beach: The Cave of Beginnings"That's it!
This is a place she used to visit every now and then when she lived in Nago City, whenever she felt like taking it easy. It’s a place full of memories from when we first started dating—we used to come here on dates, haha.
Chigunu Beach: The Cave of Beginnings (Kouri Island)
Apparently, this is the Okinawan version of the site of Adam and Eve. They say it's a power spot.
I love the clarity and blue color of the ocean as seen from this spot.
If you make your way through this narrow, winding rocky path, you’ll be able to see the sea up close—it’s this blue! (If you try to copy this pose, be careful—you might hurt your hands…!)
This photo was taken from atop a rock. It's not a place to go swimming, but a spot to gaze out at the ocean.
Accommodations are popping up all over Kouri Island, but I’d like to keep the beautiful scenery at Chigunu Beach just the way it is. If you see any trash lying around, please pick it up!

The "Cave of Beginnings" is located near the base of the two utility poles. The view of the ocean from the tip of the rock just before the seawall is beautiful! You often see people fishing at the end of the seawall.
As an aside, I often see goats behind the torii gate on the other side.

It's located about a 10-minute walk from Sora-hashi Station on Kouri Island, on the opposite side from Kouri Beach! It's really just a quick stop, so feel free to pop in!
Also, please keep an eye on small children.
