Wazan Kaiun is located a few minutes' walk from Zamami Port. Turn right at the only traffic light on the island, and you will see a wooden dining room with a relaxed appearance. There are several rustic tables, and the half-roomed restaurant is a comfortable space with sunlight streaming in. You can enjoy your meal while feeling the relaxing island time, unrelated to the hustle and bustle of the tourist area.

The specialty is, of course, "mozuku soba. Fresh mozuku seaweed harvested on Zamami Island is kneaded into the noodles to create an addictive dish with a smooth texture and good elasticity. The medium size is a typical amount, and you can add more "mozuku" as a topping. The mozuku flavor is unmistakable and unique.
The chilled Mosozuku soba (buckwheat noodles), perfect for summer, is also excellent!
You can also enjoy healthy "mozuku gohan" (mozuku rice) (300 yen), so you can be fully satisfied with soba and rice. It has a gentle flavor that will soothe your body after a day at the beach.
