Located in Yomitan Village, Okinawa Prefecture, “Banta Café by Hoshino Resorts” is one of Japan’s largest beachfront cafés, offering breathtaking views and a soothing atmosphere. Perched atop a cliff, this café allows guests to enjoy a relaxing time while taking in panoramic views of the beautiful ocean and sky.

Banta Cafe Offers Prime Seating with Stunning Views

A breathtaking location overlooking the Okinawan sea from the top of a cliff. Banta Café is situated atop “Banta” (the cliff) adjacent to Hoshino Resorts Okinawa, offering a panoramic view of the vast Okinawan sea. As you pass through the narrow, high-walled entrance, the ocean stretching out before you welcomes you. It’s a spot where you can experience a sense of escape from the everyday just by visiting.

Business hours are from 10:00 a.m. on weekdays and from 8:00 a.m. on weekends and holidays until one hour after sunset. Please check in advance, as the facility may be temporarily closed or hours may vary slightly depending on the season or events.

You can order from the café menu right as you walk in. At “Allu Grill,” located in the back, you can enjoy lunch and dinner at the restaurant.

Four Distinct Areas

The store is divided into four main areas, each offering a different experience.

Main Roof Deck

A spacious open-air deck where you can enjoy the pleasant sea breeze.

Seaside Terrace

With the sound of the waves as background music, this luxurious space feels as if it were one with the ocean. It’s especially popular with tourists.

Lounge & Relax

An air-conditioned indoor space. You can relax while lying on the sofa, and it’s a great place to read. It’s also perfect for families with small children.

Rocky Terrace

This private area, which makes use of natural rock formations, is perfect for those who want to enjoy a quiet retreat.

The vibrant jelly shimmers beautifully in the glass. Enjoy the sweet-and-sour flavor that blends with the refreshing fizz!

We also have mango juice, coffee, and alcoholic beverages.

Food

If you're feeling a little hungry, why not try a pork and egg rice ball or some garlic shrimp?

We used to love the chicken wings with mango sauce (in the center of the photo), but they might not be on the menu anymore…

At "Allu Grill," the restaurant area inside "Banta Cafe," you'll find a selection of hearty dishes perfect for lunch and dinner.

From inside the restaurant, with its floor-to-ceiling glass walls, you can enjoy your meal while gazing out at Okinawa’s beautiful ocean.

All-Burger

The All-Burger is a deluxe burger featuring a thick patty and fresh vegetables. It’s hearty and incredibly satisfying.

The Grilled Hamburger Steak Curry is a dish that entices with its appetizing aroma and hearty appearance.
