Yachimun-no-sato" in Yomitan Village is a village of art where workshops of yachimun (pottery), a traditional Okinawan ceramic art, are gathered. The village is lined with quaint red-tiled buildings, where visitors can observe the handiwork of artisans up close. At the store, visitors can purchase a wide variety of tasteful vessels such as teacups, plates, and flower vases. Visitors can enjoy an artistic experience in a quiet forest setting.

At Genkichi Genkawa's studio in Yomitan Village, you can enjoy a Ryukyu glass-making experience. You can create your own unique glasses and plates. The experience takes about 20 minutes per person. Visitors can view the works and purchase items at the gallery in the studio. All of Genkichi Gengawa's works are beautiful!

Banta Cafe|Cafe lunch overlooking the sea
After the Ryukyu glass experience, enjoy a light meal while looking out at the ocean at Banta Cafe, a very popular seaside cafe in Yomitan Village. The open space on the cliff overlooking the cobalt blue sea and sky offers a luxurious resort-like atmosphere. The terrace seating with a spectacular view is also a great photo opportunity, and is especially recommended for women and couples traveling together.

Cape Zanbamisaki|A dynamic lighthouse and a spectacular view of the sea
Cape Zanba," located in Yomitan Village, is a spectacular spot with a series of 30-meter-high cliffs. The contrast with the blue East China Sea is beautiful, and a beautiful sunset can be seen in the evening. The Cape Zanpa Lighthouse is the only lighthouse on the main island of Okinawa that can be climbed here. Be sure to take a picture of the Great Zanpa Lion. In the large park, small children can play a lot!

Finally, it is time for souvenirs at "Gokashi-Goden Yomitan Honten". This is a very popular spot among tourists for its selection of famous Okinawan sweets, including red sweet potato tarts.
