It is located a short distance after crossing the Kouri Ohashi Bridge, making it the perfect place to enjoy Kouri Island sightseeing in combination with a visit to the island. The restaurant is also equipped with a parking lot for 10 cars, making it easy to access by car.

Review of Okibara
KOURI Island Kitchen Kafuu is a café where you can enjoy gently flavored Okinawan food and sweets while enjoying the spectacular view of Kouri Island!
The Yushi Tofu Soba in particular was a perfect combination of fluffy tofu and light soup, perfect for breakfast or lunch, and I thought I wanted to eat it on a hangover (lol). The brown sugar French toast and island cheesecake were also easy to eat with a moderate sweetness, and all had the warmth that only handmade can provide!
The terrace seating on the second floor overlooks the ocean and has a great location with a pleasant breeze! It is a healing space loved by locals as well as visitors for sightseeing.
Finally, there is a caveat!
There was talk online about an observation deck with more ocean views, but it was off limits on the day I visited (2024/12/20)!
