A hotel with a spectacular view of Kouri Island, where white buildings and the blue of the sea are in harmony.
Lalamare Kouri features a simple, clean building with white as its base color. The stylish design, which reflects the Kouri blue sea and sky, creates a resort-like yet relaxed atmosphere that will make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. With no tall buildings around, you can enjoy an unobstructed view of the Kouri Blue over the Okinawan-style houses.
Rooms and amenities for your comfort and enrichment
The "Superior Twin Plus+" room we stayed in is 36.55 square meters in size and is equipped with two semi-double beds plus an extra bed for three people. The room is lean and functional, designed for a comfortable stay even on extended stays.
The view of Kouri blue from the large balcony is the best ♡.
There are two spaces with mirrors. The bathroom was the latest model, with a faucet of a type I had never seen before. The bathroom was the latest model, and I had never seen this type of faucet before, but there were instructions on how to use it, so I was able to use it without problems. The rooms are equipped with the minimum necessary amenities. If you need more, you can always get them from the common area. There is also a refrigerator and an electric kettle, so we didn't feel any inconvenience even if we stayed overnight with no meals.
Convenient facilities for your term stay
The first floor of the hotel building is equipped with a laundry room that can be used free of charge, and the second floor is equipped with vending machines, microwave ovens, ice machines, and amenities. The laundry is especially recommended for guests staying in the hotel for the second half of their trip, as washing machines and dryers are freely available. A self check-in system is also available, allowing guests to check in smoothly even if they arrive late at night.
Sunset terrace with a spectacular view all to yourself
Sunset Terrace, located on the rooftop, is a special spot accessible only to guests staying at the hotel. The gradation of the Kouri Ohashi Bridge, the ocean, and the sky at dusk is a spectacular view that can only be experienced here. Relaxing on a chair with a drink in hand, you will experience an extraordinary feeling as if you have stepped into a painting.
LoFoLo, a hideaway bistro where you can enjoy the flavors of the island with all your senses
Island Bistro LoFoLo, located on the hotel grounds, is a small creative Italian restaurant in a container house. The restaurant is mainly counter seating, with an open kitchen that offers a realistic atmosphere. Watching the chef carefully prepare the food in front of your eyes, the time it takes for the food to be ready is another form of entertainment.
We made reservations for an overnight stay with no meal plan, but we still wanted to try it, so when we checked in, we asked if reservations were available, and when they were, we asked for one. All the dishes using Okinawan seasonal ingredients are full of flavor and more authentic than I had imagined. The menu, which uses local vegetables and Okinawan pork, is sure to make you rediscover the charm of the islands.
Dinner hours are limited to Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, New Year's holidays, and GW, so those who are interested should feel free to check in advance.
