What stood out most was the “Red Sunfish Meunière.” The combination of the rich flavor of the plump, pan-seared white fish and the exquisite sauce was simply exquisite.

"Birth The Suite" is a sweet villa enveloped in the tranquility of a row of Fukugi trees. This inn offers an extraordinary experience that makes you feel as if you’ve stepped into another world, making it the perfect choice for a special stay in Okinawa.

Fukugi trees are truly mysterious; apparently, they grow only “about 10 cm” a year. The row of fukugi trees lining Bise seems to be about 300 years old. It seems they were planted from seedlings during the Ryukyu Kingdom era as part of feng shui practices, but it’s truly moving to think that the current avenue of Fukugi trees exists because our ancestors planted and nurtured them.

I knew that the Fukugi trees served as a windbreak, and it really was true!! The day I stayed there, the wind was so strong that it messed up my hairstyle, but inside the villa, it was incredibly calm and very comfortable. And that was even in the middle of winter, lol.

A completely private setting, a luxurious meal—it was an unforgettable experience.
I’m so grateful to the staff for even preparing a cake for my special occasion!
