About 10 minutes by car from Naha Airport. Although it is so close, you can experience an extraordinary feeling as if you were abroad. In search of such an experience, we headed to "Storyline Senaga Island.
Located on the southern tip of Senaga Island, the hotel has a spectacular infinity pool, a lounge with an airport view, and overly stylish guest rooms, making it the "Miami of Okinawa" for just one night.

The first thing that jumps out at you.
Appearance like an overseas resort
Before checking in, the first thing that caught my eye was the sophisticated building with white as its base color. From a distance, the building looks like a condominium, but the impression changes drastically when seen from the front. Surrounded by spacious grounds and tropical plants, you feel as if you are at a beach resort overseas.
Particularly impressive was the lighting up at night. Warm colored lights illuminate the buildings, creating a fantastic atmosphere. In the tranquility of Senaga Island, this scene was so beautiful that I couldn't help but snap the shutter.
And most of all, the winged Shi-sa is too cute ♡.
From the moment you check in, you will feel like you are in an extraordinary place.
Stylish lobby space
The tension rises even higher the moment you step into the lobby. The high ceilings and large windows create a sense of openness, and the combination of natural wood textures and white is simply stylish. The entire space heightens the sense of excitement until you reach your room!
The staff at the reception desk was smiling and courteous, and my nerves were immediately relieved.
Superior room with too cute interior
This time we stayed in a Superior Room. The moment I entered the room, I was captivated by the natural white wood interior and the expansive view of the ocean. The floor is covered with sisal-like tiles, making it comfortable even for bare feet. The white-based furniture and sundries are fresh and cute, reminiscent of a beach house, and perfect for a girls' trip.
The windows overlook the blue ocean and the runway of Naha Airport, where you can relax while watching airplanes take off and land.
What made me even happier was the kitchenette included. Microwave, toaster oven, plates and cutlery were provided, so we had no trouble preparing a light meal.
The bathrooms are also my favorite, with a full range of handsome amenities, so I had no particular problems!
Spectacular infinity pool with a spectacular view connecting sky and sea
The centerpiece of this hotel is the rooftop infinity pool. As you enter the pool, you can see the endless blue ocean and sky beyond your field of vision. To the left and right are the runways of Naha Airport, where you can watch the planes take off. There is also a hot spring!
During the day, enjoy the resort atmosphere under the blue sky and sun, and at night, transform into a night pool to enjoy the illuminated runway and the night view of Naha city. Since it is open until 9:00 p.m., dusk to night is also recommended.
Relax with a runway view in the "Sky Room
Also on the rooftop is the Sky Room, which is exclusively for guests. This is also the most relaxing space. The modern design is reminiscent of a control tower, and guests can enjoy complimentary soft drinks and alcohol while enjoying the view of the airport.
All-day dining for morning and evening enjoyment
The restaurant on the first floor is an "all-day dining" restaurant that can be used for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Breakfast is a unique "picnic breakfast" style, where you choose from three different main courses and fill your own basket with salad, soup, and freshly baked muffins.
The freedom to eat in your room, on the terrace, in the lounge, or anywhere else is also a key point. We ate in the Sky Room while soaking up the morning sun.
In the evening, a creative Latin course using Okinawan ingredients is available. We enjoyed our dinner a la carte, but it was a very satisfying experience, accompanied by South American wines and mojitos.

Umikazi Terrace on the same island
This seaside terrace with its rows of white buildings, fashionable cafes, and general merchandise stores is a fun spot to stroll.
Okinawa Outlet Mall Ashibina- 10 minutes by car
An outlet mall featuring popular domestic and international brands. You can fully enjoy shopping in the spacious premises.
Chura SUN Beach 10 min. by car
An artificial beach with shallow waters where you can enjoy BBQ and marine activities.
DMM Kariyushi Aquarium 10 min. by car
A new sense of aquarium combining the latest digital technology and natural presentation. Visitors can enjoy the charm of the Okinawan sea with all five senses.
Review of Okibara
To be honest, I thought that the hotel would just be close to the airport, but I was greatly disappointed in a good way. All of the facilities are sophisticated in design and comfort, and you can really feel the sense of being in an extraordinary place. The lounge with an airplane view, the pool with a spectacular view, the cute rooms. I want to stay here again! I would like to stay here again!
