Relax in the bright, clean interior and spacious tatami room

The Tamaya Toyosaki branch is easily recognizable by its spacious parking lot and large storefront. Inside, in addition to counter and table seating, there is also a spacious tatami room, making it a great choice for families with children and groups. With quick service and a lively yet relaxed atmosphere, your dining experience is sure to be even more enjoyable.

I was completely satisfied with the classic pork belly soba and the juicy, homemade noodles.

The tender, slow-simmered pork belly was piled generously on top of the noodles and paired perfectly with the light broth infused with bonito. The firm, thin noodles went down smoothly, and the flavor kept me coming back for more right up to the very last bite.

When it comes to Okinawa soba sets, juushi is the classic choice, but Tamaya also serves inarizushi! Whenever Son-chan comes to Tamaya, he always hesitates between juushi and inarizushi—and ends up choosing the inarizushi.

Tamaya's "Juicy" is very fluffy, has a mild flavor, and is easy to eat, so I highly recommend Tamaya to anyone trying "Juicy" for the first time! It seems to be cooked in Okinawa soba broth!

"Tamaya," which enjoys deep trust among locals, is a must-visit spot for tourists as well. It’s so popular that it fills up right after opening, but the staff are efficient and service moves quickly—when we went, we finished our meal within an hour of parking! If you go with plenty of time to spare, you’ll find it’s well worth the wait. If you want to savor authentic Okinawa soba, this is definitely the place to go.
