Rooftop BBQ", a BBQ and camping restaurant where you can enjoy BBQ and camping meals with nothing to cook, will open on April 26, 2025 at "Chura Sun Beach" in the Toyosaki area in the southern part of Okinawa's main island.
Churasun Beach, with its emerald green sea and white sand beach stretching out before you, is a popular resort area that attracts many tourists and locals throughout the year.
Taking advantage of its perfect location, "Rooftop BBQ" will offer an "outdoor lounge by the sea" where food, nature, and time all become special under the concept of "BBQ and day camp that can be enjoyed with nothing".
Chura SUN Beach is the stage for the birth of a new tourism and regional center that will "transform the charm of Okinawa into an experience.
Features of "Rooftop BBQ
Rooftop BBQ" will open on the second floor of the Chura SUN Beach administration building.
On the first floor, there is a store convenient for tourists and beachgoers, offering tropical drinks and snacks.
The second floor is an open BBQ area overlooking the ocean. You can also bring in items purchased on the first floor for enjoyment.
Selected Ingredients x Regional Cooperation
BBQ menu incorporating fresh ingredients and rare cuts of meat from Okinawa.
Through partnerships with local farmers and fishing ports, we will also contribute to the revitalization of the local economy.
Fully equipped with an authentic pizza oven where you can enjoy freshly baked, aromatic pizzas.
The facility is equipped with BBQ facilities for grilling carefully selected ingredients over charcoal, as well as a pizza oven for enjoying freshly baked, aromatic pizzas.
The experience of baking your own pizza while freely choosing from several varieties is a popular content for both adults and children.
Feel like you are in the real outdoors with nothing, and a full menu of camp foods!
In addition to BBQ, there is a full lineup of "camp food," the best part of the outdoors, such as skillet cooking and multi-griddle cooking.
The lineup includes popular dishes such as freshly cooked garlic rice, ahi jio, and beer-canned chicken using a mestin, allowing anyone to easily experience the joy of "waiting for the fire".
A relaxing time spent in the bonfire area
The facility includes a "bonfire lounge area" surrounded by flickering flames.
After the BBQ, you can enjoy a luxurious time talking around a crackling bonfire while feeling the sea breeze and the night sky. This is truly an outdoor experience for adults where the extraordinary and the relaxing intersect.
