DMM Kariyushi Aquarium, which opened in May 2020, is an aquarium with a new sensation that makes full use of the latest video technology and spatial presentation. Visitors can experience the unique Okinawan world of the sea through a fusion of realistic creatures and cutting-edge digital technology. Located close to Naha Airport, it is the perfect spot for a change of plans on a rainy day.

The space is a spectacular production that makes use of the latest visual technology available only at DMM! The fantastic jellyfish exhibit, the arched aquarium, the transparent floor, and other photo-worthy spots are everywhere you look. Children and adults alike will be fascinated by the corner where you can look at fish through a round window.
Designed to be friendly to small children
The museum is barrier-free and can be moved smoothly even with a baby stroller.
In addition to fish, you can also see land animals such as sloths and penguins, which will keep young children entertained! This is the only place in Okinawa where you can see sloths, a rare experience that is also a delightful point of interest.

What I felt during my visit was the freshness of "aquarium x visual presentation! The fantastic jellyfish exhibit, aquarium arches, glass floor, and other photo-worthy spots all made me want to point my camera at them. It was fun to point out that you can see not only fish, but also sloths and penguins up close!
