View DetailsOn October 30, 2026, Nest Hotel Japan Co., Ltd. announced that it will open the resort hotel “THE NEST ISHIGAKI” in the Miyara area of Ishigaki Island on November 1. The hotel will have a total of 54 rooms, all of which are at least 58 square meters in size. It is located about a 10-minute drive from New Ishigaki Airport.
The hotel, which was in operation until February 2026, will close, undergo renovations to its guest room layout, lobby, and restaurant, and be reborn with the addition of a pool, a farm, a barrel sauna, and other amenities. Designed primarily for family and group travel, this resort-style hotel will be the Nest Hotel Group’s 20th property in Japan and the second under its premium brand, “THE NEST.”

Spacious guest rooms and family-friendly themed rooms
The guest rooms are designed with natural materials and soothing colors that blend seamlessly with the island’s scenery. In addition to Deluxe Twin, Japanese Twin, and Suite rooms, we offer two types of themed rooms featuring a yellow color scheme: the “Game Room,” where guests can play to their heart’s content, and the “Welcome Baby Room,” designed with safety in mind using rounded furniture.
Pool, Restaurant, and Authentic Ishigaki Experiences
In the pool area, you can relax while taking in the sky and greenery of Ishigaki Island. The restaurant serves dishes made with ingredients from Ishigaki Island and Okinawa from breakfast through dinner, and there is also a bar on site.
We aim to begin offering sugarcane and island banana harvesting experiences at the on-site farm around May 2027, while the moon lily harvesting and distillation experiences, barrel sauna, and Shisa painting activities are scheduled to begin in November 2026.
