The owner and his wife have created an atmosphere of Hawaii that they have experienced firsthand, and they offer a limited number of accommodations for one couple.

The Guava Shack, located in Onna Village, is a Hawaiian-style hotel surrounded by tropical plants and run by the friendly, smiling owners. The Guava Shack, which the owner and his wife created themselves, has the feel of a Hawaiian vacation home where you can enjoy time doing nothing at all.

When a resident of Hawaii stayed for one night, she highly praised THE GUAVA SHACK as "just like home in Hawaii," and we also had a petit Hawaii trip in Okinawa!

Atmosphere of the Inn

If you are traveling north from Naha, turn at the T-junction intersection near Kibogaoka Beach and enter the Kibogaoka area. THE GUAVA SHACK is located at the end of the road.

The owner will handle check-in at the green building in the previous photo. This white house is where you will stay. There are tropical plants around.

This is the living room. You feel like you are staying at a stylish friend's house! Old Hawaiian art and furniture are everywhere, and if you play Hawaiian music, you will instantly feel tropical.

The shelves on either side of the back of the bed are lined with books purchased from Hawaii and decorated with local goods. It must have been relaxing. She laid down on the bed and said, "I want to stay here forever.

The kitchen is equipped with knives, cutting boards, pots, and other basic cooking utensils and tableware. A coffee mill and dripper for enjoying coffee were also provided! I honestly wanted to build this kitchen as it is in my home.

A pure white bathroom. Aesoap shampoo and conditioner with natural fragrance. Eco-friendly bamboo toiletries are provided on the washbasin. The hair dryer must have been a Dyson.

There is also a washer/dryer so you can enjoy a Hawaiian stay as if you were living in the house.

There were hanging chairs on the terrace. She sat here for a while in a daze. There are a lot of tropical plants in the area where she sat, so she could have privacy outside as well. There were also bananas bearing fruit.

A swimming pool is also available in the summer. There are, of course, no lifeguards, so only guests can enjoy the pool.

meal

This hotel is only for overnight stays, so if you want to eat at the inn, you will have to cook your own food or take out. There are convenience stores and restaurants nearby, so it is not that inconvenient. We played breakfast with the food we bought at the convenience store the night before. lol It started to look like that of the hotel, and we both agreed that it looks better because it is this inn and this tableware.

Review of Okibara

If I had the money, I would live in this house!" This is the common impression of both of us. The garden, the architecture, the interior design, and the world view were all wonderful.

The luxury of doing nothing, the pool you can take in whenever you want, the soft sunlight when you wake up in the morning, the coffee brewed while listening to the birds singing, the time to sit in the hanging chairs and just relax. Even if I had plans, I wanted to stay until just before check-out!

Also, the owner and his wife are too nice! You are dazzling! Thank you very much!
