"Churaumi Aquarium Discount Tickets" at Onna Station to Go on Sale While Supplies Last
On March 31, 2025, it was announced on the official Instagram account of Onna Station Nakayukui Market that the sale of discounted “Churaumi Aquarium admission tickets” would end once current stock runs out.
Reason for Discontinuation: Changes in procurement terms have made it difficult to continue sales.
According to the post, the “Okinawa Churaumi Foundation,” a general incorporated association that operates the Churaumi Aquarium, notified Onna Station via a supplier of changes to the terms of business effective April 2025. In response, Onna Station held repeated discussions but apparently concluded that it would be difficult to continue selling at the current discounted price.
The discount sale is scheduled to end on July 31, 2025, while supplies last.
At this time, the discounted sale is scheduled to continue through Thursday, July 31, 2025; however, it may end early if supplies run out. In that case, the product will immediately return to its regular price.
