Within Okinawa Prefecture, observations have been conducted since 1991 at four locations: Naha, Minamidaito Island, Miyako Island, and Ishigaki Island. The weather on any given day is classified as rain, cloudy, or sunny based on specific criteria. As a result,At the Naha station, October has the highest probability of sunny weather (60.71 TP3T).
By the way, July has the highest percentage of sunny days on Miyako Island and Ishigaki Island.

Approach to Okinawa Prefecture: This refers to the typhoon’s center entering within 300 km of any of the meteorological offices or similar facilities in Naha, Nago, Kumejima, Miyakojima, Ishigakijima, Iriomotejima, Yonagunijima, or Minamidaitojima. The number in parentheses indicates the number of times the typhoon has approached Okinawa Prefecture.
2. “*” If a typhoon approaches during two months, it is counted in both months. The number of approaching typhoons may differ between the monthly total and the annual total.

3. Travel costs will drop slightly starting in October
With the busy season from July through September now over, October marks the transition from peak season to off-season. As a result, airfare and hotel rates tend to drop slightly. This allows you to keep your overall travel costs down. This is great news for those planning family trips or extended stays. If you’re looking purely for the lowest prices, the period from November through February of the following year—excluding the year-end and New Year’s holidays—is recommended.

I’m pretty sure there aren’t any beaches that close in September. In October, the water in Okinawa is still warm, so you can fully enjoy swimming, snorkeling, and other water sports. It’s a luxurious experience to spend a leisurely day at the beach, feeling as if you have the place all to yourself.
7. The climate is pleasant
In October, Okinawa continues to enjoy summer-like warm weather, with some days reaching temperatures above 30 degrees.During the day, it's perfectly fine to wear short sleeves and shorts.It gets a little cooler in the evening, making it the perfect time for a stroll. Since it’s neither too hot nor too cold this time of year, you can enjoy sightseeing without straining yourself physically. Since my parents are getting on in years, I try to invite them starting in October, when they can experience Okinawa’s “eternal summer” while still managing their health easily.
However, since October nights can get a bit chilly depending on the rain and wind, I think it would be a good idea to bring a long-sleeve T-shirt just in case! (You can always buy one there, too.)
