Contrast between the dynamic cliffs and the beautiful lighthouse
The contrast between the white lighthouse and the rugged cliffs of Cape Zanba is striking. The lighthouse can be climbed for a fee, and a 360-degree panoramic view can be seen from the top. The blue ocean seen from the cliff is breathtaking.
The area around the lighthouse is also a popular photo spot, especially at sunset, when the atmosphere is romantic.
Attractive lawn and large playground equipment! A family spot where you can play freely.
Cape Zanba Park has a spacious lawn and large playground equipment, including a roller slide. It is a safe environment for children to run around freely, and with benches and pavilions, it is perfect for families. It is also ideal for picnics and leisurely strolls while feeling the sea breeze.
Giant Shisa statue overwhelmed by the presence of the guardian god
In a corner of the park, a huge statue of Shisa stands 7 meters long and 4 meters high. The Shisa, which is popular as the guardian god of Okinawa, is a powerful figure and very popular as a photo spot. Children, in particular, are amazed by its size! It is a symbol of the park.
Easy access from Naha! Perfect for a drive!
It takes about one hour by car from Naha Airport. After entering Yomitan Village on Route 58 northward, follow the signs and you will arrive without hesitation. Free parking is available near the lighthouse and park. If you take a bus, get off at "Yomitan Village Hall Mae" and take a cab. It is also a popular driving course.
A place filled with nature and human kindness in Okinawa
The view from the lighthouse is beautiful and the town of Yomitan Village is my favorite spot because of its Okinawan character ♡ I was impressed by the dynamic cliffs and the clarity of the sea even though it should be quite deep. I was especially amazed by the presence of the giant Shisa statue! The Shisa's buttocks are cute too, so take a look! We exchanged greetings with the locals and the air in the park was very warm, making it a place we would like to come back to.
