A Historic Farmhouse in the Woods and a Scenic Restaurant Where the Sound of a Waterfall Echoes

The estate consists of historic buildings centered around the “Asato House,” which was built in the late Meiji period, with the Sawachi House relocated and restored to the south and the Shinjō House to the north.

The grounds are so vast that they’re often described as a theme park; the area stretching from the parking lot to the restaurant is “Oya World,” where visitors can experience Okinawa’s unique culture and nature.

The interior, which makes extensive use of wood, has a warm, inviting atmosphere, and the terrace seats offer a special view of the waterfall.

Okinawa Soba—the one packed with meat

These cream puffs have a crispy shell filled with a special cream made from Okinawan brown sugar. I always end up eating one after a meal. I think they were around 300 yen.
