Lured by the rich aroma of brown sugar...

Jaune d'Or is located in a quiet residential neighborhood in Ishikawa, Uruma City. At first glance, the exterior appears simple, but it’s striking to see customers eagerly awaiting the store’s opening naturally gather there every Sunday morning.

The storefront features a hand-painted chalkboard and decorative touches, creating a cozy atmosphere that blends a local feel with warmth. Step inside, and you’ll find a space that reflects the shop’s dedication to sweets, where the friendly staff welcomes you with a smile.

The Shocking Combination of Brown Sugar and Cheese!
Jonne d'Or's "Po-Po" is available every Sunday starting at 11:00 a.m. in limited quantities. The flavors include a total of3 types. Each one has its own unique character, and fans enjoy comparing them.
Plain

A classic treat that lets you fully savor the flavor of the dough, which is kneaded with Okinawan brown sugar. Its chewy texture and mild sweetness are addictive, and many people say, “This really is the best!”
Chunky red bean paste

Filled with chunky red bean paste that pairs perfectly with the brown sugar dough. With every bite, the rich flavor of the red bean paste and the sweetness of the brown sugar blend exquisitely, creating a comforting and delicious treat. (Kazunari is a fan of chunky red bean paste!)
Cheese

Surprisingly, some say it’s the most popular flavor! The rich depth of brown sugar and the salty cheese create an unexpected harmony. It’s a new classic that has people exclaiming, “I can’t believe how well these go together!” (Son-chan is a cheese fan!)

Each one is quite long and feels substantial in the hand, but it has such a perfect balance that once you start eating, you find yourself finishing it off in no time. At first, we bought them just to try them out—planning to split one each between the two of us—but they were so delicious that we immediately went back for all the varieties (lol). And we even got one each.
