[Shuri Castle Park] Notice Regarding Price Changes and the Advance Reservation System in Connection with the Public Opening of the Shuri Castle Main Hall
*This site contains advertisements.

The Main Hall, which was destroyed in a fire in Reiwa 1 and has since been undergoing restoration, will open to the public on Monday, November 23, Reiwa 8 (a national holiday). Restoration of other facilities, including the North Hall, South Hall, and the garden, is scheduled to proceed in phases in the future.

In conjunction with the opening of the Main Hall to the public, and in light of both strengthened disaster prevention and fire safety measures and the rise in facility operating costs due to recent inflation, we will be adjusting our admission fees. This adjustment is intended to ensure that visitors can tour the Main Hall safely and comfortably, while also allowing us to properly manage the facility. We appreciate your understanding.

In addition, to ensure safety during visits to the Main Hall and to prevent overtourism, we will be limiting the number of visitors inside the Main Hall. For this reason, to prevent overcrowding, we are implementing a system requiring advance reservations with designated dates and times (every 30 minutes) for visits to the Main Hall.

Please note that, as before, you may enter and view the facilities in the paid areas—excluding the Main Hall—without making a reservation.

[Admission Fees]

The new admission fees will take effect on the Main Hall’s Public Viewing Day (November 23, Reiwa 8).
New Admission Fees (Tax Included) (Effective for visitors entering on or after November 23, Reiwa 8)

■Upcoming Sales Schedule:
[For admissions from November 23, Reiwa 8, through December 31, Reiwa 8]

○ Second Round Sales Date and Time: Thursday, October 1, starting at 1:00 p.m.

[Advance Reservations for Groups]

■How to Apply
For the time being, group visits to the Main Hall will be conducted on a lottery basis via the group reservation form. If you do not wish to visit the Main Hall, you may still enter the paid areas excluding the Main Hall; however, to ensure a smooth visit, please apply in advance using the group reservation form.
*Please note that due to the expectation of heavy crowds from November 23 to December 6, Reiwa 8, and for safety reasons, we will not be accepting advance reservations for group tours inside the Main Hall. We appreciate your understanding.
*You can select whether or not to use the bus parking lot when you make your reservation.
*Please note that admission fees are not paid at the time of registration but must be paid at the ticket counter.
*Group rates apply to groups of 20 or more.
