We recommend this hotel to those who are looking for a new, cost-effective, and comfortable hotel in Miyakojima.

Blue Cove Terrace2, opening in 2020, is located on Irabu Island, Miyakojima, Okinawa, Japan. The rooms are clean, and for active travelers, there is a washer and dryer (and detergent) in the room, as well as a mini-kitchen!
Although it does not have a view of the ocean, it has easy access to tourist attractions and beaches, and is perfect for a long stay. It is ideal for sightseeing around Irabu Island.

Hotel Atmosphere

This is what the exterior looks like. I almost passed by it because of its simple appearance.

The entrance is decorated in pink and blue. You might want to take a picture. This is a non-personal hotel where both check-in and check-out are done by touch panel.

Guests are self-service with amenities and cooking utensils. Vending machines are also located in the hotel, so there is no need to go outside!

The room is 30 sq.m., so it has some space. Cool and comfortable!

The most pleasant thing is that there is a washer and dryer inside the room. I am most happy that I don't have to go out of the room. Separate bathroom and toilet. There are also two washstands. The bathroom is about the size of a normal home, so you can stay as if you were living in the house.

Breakfast is buffet style at Shokusai-tei Mutsumi (steakhouse) next door from the hotel. It is like a breakfast at a set restaurant! It is a simple menu, but if you play and eat a lot during the day, this amount is enough.

A kid's room for children, check-in/out at your own pace, cooking equipment rental, and vending machines in the hotel made it possible to live in the hotel without any problems, except that you had to go outside if you got hungry!

When we stayed at the hotel, there were several followers who had already stayed there. They said, "The hotel doesn't have a view of the ocean, but as a tourist base it is very inexpensive, comfortable, and cost-effective without any inconvenience!" We are very happy to hear that!

We totally agree with you. We can also recommend this hotel for those with children. In off-season, you can get a plan for about 5,000-6,000 yen per night including breakfast, and even in high season, it is around 10,000 yen.

I've said it many times, but after playing on the beach all day and returning to the hotel exhausted, having a washing machine in the room was a "Godsend! I thought. It was so time efficient that I could undress, do laundry, shower, and go to bed in the meantime.

Also, a few minutes away from the hotel is the "Nakayukui Shoten" of Miyako's famous Satapanbin (Sata-Andagi), and the 17END and Watariguchi beaches are also very convenient!
